"Bolting" Sales Opportunity

Previous Entry  Next Entry
I want to do the best I can for my comany.
Team-mates,

As you all know, we have Dan Dainer and and Tim Moulton from the University of Michigan-Stout arriving after lunch. We hope you'll all be friendly to these former and potential future clients of ours. Our Sales team will be showing them a good time in New York City this weekend, all on the company dime. Though I hardly think you'll need to search for topics for "small talk" bear in mind that in addition to heading up the Engineering and Technology Department at UMich-Stout, Dan enjoys white water rafting and being a scout leader while Tim is active in the university's "Stoutreach" program in the community, bringing his oboe talents to senior citizens homes in Stout and surrounding areas.

Let's show these guys a good time or they'll ...bolt!! :)

Thanks

Ed Morton

ps. Also, please avoid keeping food in your desks. The mouse problem has gotten out of control

I do not feel that you "compromised yourself."

Continued discretion

Ed,

Sorry things in the trip into the city did not turn out as you had hoped. However i do not feel that you "compromised yourself" for the good of the company, as you stated to me on the cab ride home.

Let's and consider it a learning experience (on the bright side, you now know that when someone has had too many Beam & Cokes, and you try to make a joke about there oboe talents, you can expect just about anything!).

You can count on my continued discretion about all events. What happens at Madam Chang's stays in Madam Chang's so to speak (Ha ha, sometimes it is just good to laugh, Ed).

Jim,

I promise you, I'll make it up to you. are the most understanding, best boss a guy could have.

There's only one problem: Lisa. She doesn't exactly lock information in the vault, so to speak.

remorsefully and with great shame,
